Dan Halma is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, and sound mixer based in Philadelphia.
After graduating from West Chester University and moving to Philadelphia in 2013, Dan worked as a gigging musician, teacher and writer before shifting his focus to the world of film, television and video games. Initially working as a composer, he quickly expanded his craft into the world of sound design and mixing. Over the last decade he’s honed his skills into a career that has included feature films for IFC and Amazon Prime, broadcasts for NBC and Boiler Room, and numerous short films, documentaries and indie games.
Throughout all of his work, Dan is drawn to intriguing timbres and textures and dedicated to crafting compelling, immersive audio experiences across a multitude of genres and mediums.
